Mother Robot
- "Mother" is a peanut shaped sensor robot that can watch over you and your family in your house
- It can tell how well you brush your teeth, it has a monitor for the doors in your house and knows how much water you drink everyday
- It also knows how much you sleep and it can be programed to monitor medication usages
IBM's Watson aims to make hospital stays more enjoyable
- This supercomputer is designed to make major hospital visits less frightful to patients
- IBM has a 3 year partnership with Alder Hey Children's Hospital in the UK to analyze patient care
- IBM has been testing this supercomputer since 2011 by assisting doctors in making clinical decisions
- Now its next task is to turn Alder Hey into a "cognitive hospital" which delivers insight about the patient experience
- In the future IBM hopes to have more applications including matching patients to clinical studies and help manage chronic illness through educational applications

My goal is to go to college and become a nurse. This will not only benefit me but also the community. I can become a school nurse or maybe work at a nearby hospital.

- How was this Wiki created/designed? This wiki was created by someone who had research/information about disruptive technology in the classroom, they made an account and posted it. Other people edited this and added more information as well.
- What would you add to this particular wiki? I would add more up-to-date information, resources and links.
- What did you learn after reading this wiki? I have learned that an Internet Telephony allows your computer to be used like a telephone, you can send voice overs to someone.
- If you had to create a Wiki with a team, what would be the specific topic (s)? If I created a wiki, I would make one on allstar cheerleading.
